Google wants to maintain the flow of human intelligence streaming in their directions hoping to grab the next Sergey and Page. The logic is simple if Google was able to come late to the party and dominate the online search world toppling yahoo in less than 10 years, then it can be done again.
The problem is that continuous intelligence does not exist. If someone was that super smart and well rounded with a complete understanding about how, what, and when to build the next big thing, they are smart enough to know they do not need to work for Google or anyone else.

Onsets Prelude
I finally started the long overdue creation of Onsets.
The project is officially launched with a multi task list bewteen completing the first manifesto including a long versioned introduction and forming a new team.
Here is a rudimentary product road map version 0.1 for Java:
A reminder about the Onsets project. The idea is to create an environment conductive to building both simple and complex applications without having to think about databases, relationships, scalability, or other typical software development annoying constraints. A developer will be able to drag and drop pure classes into different visual and discrete sets, define views and policies and more importantly be able to instantly interact in parallel with a testing and previewing environment. It will be easy to define, change and try different behaviours. Launching and distributing applications will be available on a click of a button.
The process involved in learning a new framework and rebuilding an infrastucture is way to inneficient today and at the end of the day all what application consumers are interested in is an environment allowing them to perform their job the easiest possible way while being productive and efficient.
